Sauchiehall Street and Brooklyn in New York City are seldom confused.
However, a new bar in the Beresford building is bringing some of that Big Apple sass to Glasgow city centre.
Located at the rock ‘n’ roll end of Sauchiehall Street, the Beresford Lounge is a hip new hangout with a distinct NYC vibe.
Along with a mural showing famous Manhattan landmarks, it also has a mouth-watering menu packed with dishes that offer a flavour of the US of A.
You can check out the Beresford Lounge with today’s Big Deal on a two course meal and a cocktail.
Available seven days a week, from noon to 10pm, the offer is for a starter and main course or main course and dessert from the Beresford menu.
Secret tomato sauce recipe
Pizzas and burgers are the mainstays of the current menu and the pizzas are all made with real Italian mozzarella and a secret tomato sauce recipe.
Diners can choose pizzas like the classic Margherita, spicy chorizo or the delish roast chicken. As well as the pizzas on the menu, diners have the option of building their own with up to four toppings.
The burger choice includes a veggie falafel and humus version; a chicken fillet burger and the original beef made with 100% Angus beef.
Piri piri wings
There is also the option to order up grilled wings with your choice of bourbon, BBQ, honey or piri piri dressing.
Starters on offer include the soup of the day and bruschetta topped with tomato and onion.
Tempting desserts include the decadent chocolate fudge cake, sticky toffee pudding or the light and refreshing sorbet of the day.
Close to the Garage, O2 ABC and the King’s Theatre, Beresford Lounge is ideally located for a bite to eat before catching a gig or night at the theatre.
It could also be used for lunch; as a break in a shopping trip or simply as the start to a great night on the town in Glasgow city centre.
