Unlike the jokes which fly around the Big Deal office, some things only get better with age.
Originally dating from the 14th century, Culcreuch Castle Hotel is one of Scotland’s oldest hotels. Blending historic atmosphere with 21st century comforts, it is growing old very gracefully.
Located near Stirling in Central Scotland, it overlooks its own private loch and is set in the beautiful, 1600 acre Culcreuch Estate.
Today, Culcreuch Castle Hotel retains all the romance and charm that its heritage entitles it to, yet it has been sensitively upgraded and is professionally managed to offer an excellent standard of comfort and luxury accommodation.
Available Sunday to Friday, option one of this exceptional offer is for two people to have an overnight break in a standard room at Culcreuch Castle Hotel.

If the weather is fine, guests can even eat outside.

Locally sourced ingredients take pride of place on the menus in both restaurants.

Culcreuch Castle has been a home for 700 years. This is what one of the more recent guests thought of her family’s stay at Culcreuch Castle Hotel:
‘Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. My husband booked me two nights here on a 5pm deal. We got a family room in the castle with a cot for our son. The room was beautiful and great care had been taken to ensure an authentic period look. We ate in the bar. The food was lovely and there was a kids menu. The manager even wheeled the wee one around for five minutes when the food arrived so we could eat some of it in peace! Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had… It was so good we’ve booked in again as our family Christmas present to ourselves!’
‘If you want an American chain style hotel don’t stay here but if you want to go somewhere a bit different with bags of character and a couple of quirks then look no further. I look forward to this being our regular family weekend away spot.’
