Today’s Big Deal comes to you shaken, not stirred from the Bridge of Orchy Hotel – a fantastic four star venue near Glen Etive, the setting for the gripping finale of Skyfall, the latest Bond film.
Your mission is to enjoy an overnight stay in the beautiful Argyll Hotel and enjoy fine, locally sourced food for dinner and breakfast in the hotel’s dining room.
You don’t have to arrive in an Aston Martin and we’re making no mention of Miss Moneypenny but, as part of the offer, both guests can enjoy a Martini, Bond’s favourite tipple, in the bar.
Found on the A82 between Crianlarich and Glencoe, the award-winning Bridge of Orchy Hotel is deep in the Scottish Highlands yet easily accessible from the Central Belt.
Overlooked by the mighty Beinn Dorain and close to Glencoe, the hotel is a paradise for lovers of the great outdoors.
A staging post on the West Highland Way, the Bridge of Orchy Hotel is a fantastic base for some of the best climbing, skiing and walking in Scotland.
Individually decorated rooms
The offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a double or twin room at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel.
Recently refurbished in neutral tones, the hotel’s ten ensuite rooms are all cosy, comfortable and welcoming. All have flat screen TVs, hairdryers and tea/coffee facilities. Fluffy towels, extra bedding and complimentary luxury toiletries are standard.
The offer is available seven days a week with a £20 a night surcharge for Friday and Saturday nights.
The Bridge of Orchy Hotel has an excellent reputation for imaginative Scottish cuisine featuring a fine range of fresh local produce in season.
A Gold Winner in the Real & Local Food category at the Scottish Hotel Awards, the hotel serves delicious dishes such as the crisp, battered, East Coast haddock with hand-cut chips, pea purée and tartare sauce or the pan-seared haunch of locally sourced venison steak with rosti potato, market vegetables and a Burgundy jus.
As well as a full cooked Scottish breakfast, this offer includes a three course dinner. Some dishes, such as the sirloin steak, will incur a supplement.
The hotel bar is a welcoming spot for an after dinner dram, especially in the winter months when the log fire keeps everything toasty.
Don’t forget, a lovely, ice cold Martini for each guest is also included in this offer.
