The Isle of Mull is thought to have been inhabited since the end of the last Ice Age.
The first tourists arrived soon after and one of the earliest reviews, carved into a rock, read ‘Lovely beaches, fantastic wildlife – just needs a good hotel with a hot tub’.
Some 8000 years later, the wishes of those early travel pioneers have been granted. Take up today’s Big Deal with the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa and you can enjoy their outdoor hot tub and so much more.
Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa has panoramic sea views which can be enjoyed from its restaurant, its outdoor hot tub and many of its rooms.
The hotel is handily close to the ferry terminal but feels gloriously remote from the traffic jams of the Central Belt. Rush hour feels a long way from Mull.
Two night break
This rather splendid Big Deal is for two people to enjoy either a one or two night stay at the Isle of Mull Hotel. Whether you choose to stay for one night or two, breakfast is included. A 3 course dinner is also included on the first night of your stay.
Breakfast is something of a speciality at The Isle of Mull Hotel. You might want to try the venison sausage or porridge oats with honey.
Many of the rooms have views of the bay and they are all elegantly designed with contemporary, natural décor. There is free WiFi available in the hotel’s public areas.
The hotel has fantastic leisure facilities. As well as the outdoor hot tub (which we may have mentioned before), it features a 17-metre swimming pool, children’s splash pool; an air conditioned, fully equipped gym with outdoor decking area; steam room; Norwegian spruce sauna and a hydro foot spa.
Alternatively, just relax in the lounge bar – it has over a hundred drams just begging to be tasted.
The Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa has wowed guests, especially the one who left this recent TripAdvisor review:
‘Jewel of the Scottish islands… booking in at reception was enjoyable as we had a `blether` with the energetic and enthusiastic young Jennifer… our room which was spacious and clean, everything was in order, the spa was first class, staff friendly and helpful, a good choice from the fixed menu, we had chicken, sauce was superb… after an excellent nights sleep we enjoyed a varied hot breakfast, restaurant staff friendly and worked well together, the view was breathtaking !!!!!! Well worth a visit.’
