Life without curry is probably possible but what would be the point?
Indulge your curry craving with today’s Big Deal at the Indian Brasserie on Paisley Road West.
Decorated with scenes of historical Indian battles, it is a colourful and cosy space in which to enjoy authentic Indian dishes.
Classic Indian dishes
Available seven days a week, from 4pm to 10pm, the offer is for one person to have a starter and main course from the a la carte menu at the Indian Brasserie.
For starters, we’re torn between the haggis pakora, spicy chicken drumsticks and the onion bhaji. There is a lot to choose from.
Main courses are easier. Who could look beyond the lamb biryani?
Having said that, we could easily be tempted by the chicken balti. Or the lamb rogan josh.
Mind you, we also like the sound of the Malaidar curry made with puréed spinach simmered with lashings of green chillies, garlic and a flourish of fresh cream.
OK, perhaps it’s not such an easy choice after all.
There is a £2.95 supplement on tandoori and king prawn dishes and 50p on nan breads other than the plain nan.
The Indian Brasserie seems to inspire its customers to write very enthusiastic reviews. We chuckled at this recent TripAdvisor review. We cut out a few ‘r’s:
‘Best meal everrrrrrrrr… I have been eating here since it has been refurbished. Excellent is a word when it comes to food. Don’t believe me, try yourself.’ Rating 5/5
On Indian Brasserie’s 5pm page, diners have been just as keen to praise the restaurant:
‘Service great, food fab, value for money great’ Rating 5/5
If just the thought of a good curry makes your heart beat faster then this Big Deal with the Indian Brasserie has got your name on it.
With very convenient availability, you could use it for a night out with friends or family; a romantic Saturday night meal or simply as a midweek treat when you don’t fancy cooking.
