Evel Knievel, the American daredevil and motorbike stunt maniac, once said, ‘I love the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair’.
Not best known as a massive nature-lover, he was talking about jumping over a dozen buses on a motorbike.
Take up today’s Big Deal on a relaxing stay at the four star Moness House Hotel in Aberfeldy and you too can enjoy fresh air and wind blowing through your hair – only without the inconvenience of trying to fly over a double decker.
Less than two hours from all of Scotland’s major cities, Moness Resort is quick and easy to get to but feels a long way from the grind of urban life.
Make the most of this mellow autumn with today’s Big Deal on a getaway to Moness House Hotel.

If you choose to take meals other than breakfast at the resort, then Flemmyngs Restaurant offers an excellent choice of fresh meat, fish and game sourced in Perthshire.
The menu is changed daily but typical dishes might be the hot-smoked salmon and smoked salmon with pickled cucumber and Hollandaise; the slow cooked shin of Aberdeen beef with celeriac purée, fondant potato and roasted root vegetables or the Drambuie scented crème brulée with caramelised orange segments and shortbread.
If both guests order a three course dinner in Flemmyngs then you will be offered a bottle of house wine as part of the Big Deal.
The more informal Terrace offers a great spread of light bites, bar suppers and nibbles.

‘Excellent break. We stayed there early Sep. As we drove in, it looked exactly as described. The room was beautiful, views breath taking. Perfect spot to travel around the area. Breakfast awesome and lots of staff ready to serve and help you. We ate there on the night and that too was lovely. We had spa treatments. The girl was friendly and put you at ease. Pool and spa just as good, very clean, quiet and will deffo go back in November.’
