What’s Included

Getaway break in peaceful hotel

Beautiful countryside

Full Scottish breakfast

Great location for outdoor pursuits

Sitting on the western end of Loch Tay, Killin is a picturesque village which is clustered around the Falls of Dochart.

Back in the dim and distant past, it was the stronghold of the MacNab clan.

Nab today’s deal and fall in love with Killin while staying at the welcoming Bridge of Lochay Hotel.

Scottish hospitality

A family-run business, the Bridge of Lochay Hotel was built in 1765. Combining traditional Scottish hospitality and modern comforts, it sits on the banks of the River Lochay in one and a half acres of its own grounds.

Killin is some times called the place where the mountains meet the loch and the hotel offers scenic views of the river and it surrounding hills.

Overnight break

Enjoy all that Killin has to offer with today’s Big Deal on an overnight bed and breakfast stay for two in a double or twin room at the Bridge of Lochay.

All the rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated with en-suite bathrooms with showers and/or baths, central heating, tea and coffee making tray plus DVD and TV facilities.

The hotel also offers complimentary WiFi in the residents lounge and free parking.

Scottish breakfast

A full Scottish breakfast is included in the offer. From woodland mushrooms to haggis via eggs-your-way, it’s the best way to set yourself up for a day exploring the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen loves using local produce and if you decide to dine in the hotel on the Dinner Menu (not included) then today’s offer means that you can enjoy a free starter with every main course ordered.

See & do around Killin

Whether you want to visit distilleries, climb Munros or enjoy watersports on Loch Tay, Killin is a brilliant base from which to explore this fascinating corner of Scotland.

The hotel can also arrange salmon and trout fishing on the Lochay. Alternatively, just take a book out to the decking and drink in the views.

Happy guests

TripAdvisor has a lot of great reviews from people who have enjoyed their time at the Bridge of Lochay Hotel. This is what a recent visitor had to say:

‘Great stay. We just spent three nights at the hotel. Fantastic. Great place with character. Scenery around the hotel is spectacular. We had room four which has a view up the river and of the bridge. Very peaceful with just the sound of the river flowing by. Our room was clean, bright and airy and fully serviced each day. Staff are very nice, friendly, helpful and easy to engage in conversation. Service for our short stay could not be faulted in any way. 10/10 for the food. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast and all were excellent quality and freshly prepared. Menu is not over-sized and caters for all tastes. Loads of history in the dining room and a nice bright airy breakfast room. Best breakfast we have had for a long time, perfect way to kick off the day.’

Easy break

Killin is less than an hour and a half’s drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh which makes the Bridge of Lochay a convenient destination to get to.

If you would like an autumn getaway to look forward to then today’s Big Deal would make for an easy and relaxing break.
