Opened in 2012 and set over four floors on Nelson Mandela Place, Chaophraya is the largest Thai restaurant in Europe and it is certainly the most glam.

With today’s Big Deal, guests can discover the secrets of Thai cooking and ingredients with a hands-on cookery master class and tasting.

Chef demonstration

Available Mondays to Thursday from 6.30pm, this Big Deal is a for a two and a half hour Thai cookery experience.

After an introduction to Thai ingredients, your chef will demonstrate how to make three authentic Thai dishes.

The exact dishes will change for each session and range from stir fries to curries and traditional starters.

Guests with specific dietary requirements are asked to tell the restaurant when booking so that dishes can be adapted.

Guests will be provided with chef hats.

Hands-on class

After watching the demonstration, it is up to you to recreate the dishes – with a little help from the chef if need be.

Guests will then get to eat the dishes they have cooked.
At the end of the evening, guests can take home their chef’s hat plus a goody bag.
