Is all this drizzly weather giving you a bad case of the blahs? Awww, don’t worry. There’s actually a magic antidote for blasting those blahs away.
It’s simple — take some Prosecco, add your favourite person, throw in popcorn, nuts, olives and crisps, then clink your glasses in a glitzy Princes Square bar.
This fizz ‘n’ nibbles Big Deal from Jax has all of the above ingredients and best of all, it’s available Sunday to Friday.
Prosecco with nibbles for two
Brought to you by the peeps behind Eden Mill distillery, Jax is a sleek bar tucked away among the designer shops of Princes Square.
The Big Deal is for a glass of Prosecco for two, with nibbles like popcorn, nuts, olives and crisps to share.
It’s available Sunday to Friday from noon until 10pm, meaning you can pop in while shopping, or after work, or even later at night for a special date. You can enjoy your treat until the end of February.
Smart city centre hangout
Jax is a neon-lit bar that is very versatile.
By day, it’s a relaxed spot to pop into after a shopping spree, while by night some of Glasgow’s best DJs will kickstart your evening out on the town. Plus the range of signature cocktails mean that you might want to linger on for longer after your fizz.
Jax is based on Buchanan Street, handy for The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Cineworld cinema and Theatre Royal.

They had an Ibiza event thing on over this weekend and yesterday had a dj and a glitter bar etc. Was a good little random find and we will defo go back, the staff were very helpful and attentive also!’ 5/5
