Well, we’ve got a better suggestion, Sir Elton. How about a Saturday night gig instead of fisticuffs? Bit more civilised, eh?

And in our humble opinion, the best gigs are the ones where you get to see a buzz music artist who’s just about to breakthrough and become a star (but who is still under-the-radar enough for you to acquire some “I saw them first, actually” kudos).

This perfectly describes today’s Big Deal for a ticket to Katee Kross & The Amberjax’s third album launch, at Nice N Sleazy on Saturday 13th October 2018.

Legendary Glasgow gig venue

Today’s Big Deal from Fusion Functions & Events is a chance to see a rising star just before she hits the big time.

Right now, Katee Kross is well on her way to making a name for herself as a singer-songwriter in the country music scene and is known for being an incredible vocalist.

That’s why major artists like Karine Polwart, Dougie MacLean and Barbara Dickson have all been queuing up to work and perform with her.

Katee might only be in her early twenties but she has already performed to 12,500 people at Wembley Arena during a Seasick Steve concert, supported Sandi Thom, had several BBC Radio Scotland spins, played a support slot at a sold out Kelvingrove Bandstand show and appeared live on STV2. Pretty impressive, so far.

Launch of new album

This gig at legendary venue Nice N Sleazy will launch Katee’s third album. Accompanied by her band The Amberjax, they will be playing all of their new material for the very first time. Bets are on that this album will be her big breakthrough moment.

The show will start at 8pm, last for two hours and include local support act Tommy McGuire and special guest Mick Hargan. Doors open at 7.30pm and this will be a standing only event.

See her before everyone else
