Heat and Eat – convenience delivered

Available from 4pm to 10pm, seven days a week, option one is for a Heat and Eat takeaway meal for two people.

The dishes are made fresh in small batches. To give you the best choice of dishes possible, we ask that you order 24 hours in advance.

Your food will be delivered from the delicatessen at the Ashoka Finnieston. It is delivered cold for you to heat up when convenient. Full instructions are supplied.

Wide choice of dishes

Heat and Eat Takeaway meal consisting of one pakora; a chef’s special salad; a vegetable main dish; two meat main dishes (chicken); a portion of fried or boiled rice plus a plain naan or two chapatis.

There are several different ways in which you can customise your Heat and Eat meal.

Choose vegetable or chicken pakora. Pakora can be substituted for a chicken tikka starter.

Chef’s special salad choice can vary between a green salad, chicken tikka salad, or prawn cocktail salad.

Vegetable main dishes are saag aloo, tarka daal or desi chana masala.

Meat dishes are chicken korma, lamb chasni, chicken tikka masala, lamb bhoona, chicken bhoona and lamb balti. These dishes cannot be changed (meat or sauce).

Plain rice can be upgraded to coconut rice for an extra 50p. No other special rice included.

Naans can be upgraded to a peshwari naan for 50p. No other special naan is included.

Delivery is within one hour, subject to traffic and order demand.

There is a £2 delivery charge, paid straight to merchant, for G3, G4, G11 & G12 postcodes. There is a £3 delivery charge for G13, G14, G20 & G51 postcodes.

The portion size for this offer is smaller than restaurant portions to allow you to eat a greater choice of dishes.

BBQ Takeaway

Option two, also available from 4pm to 10pm, seven days a week, is for a takeaway BBQ kit for you to cook at home.

Designed to make your summer BBQs easy, your kit comprises four pieces of tandoori chicken kebab; eight pieces of seekh kebab; four pieces of kesari salmon tikka and four pieces of tandoori king prawn.

Delivery charges are the same as option one. 24 hours advance ordering required.
