‘When two tribes go to war, a point is all that you can score’ was the core message of 1984’s Two Tribes by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
Deep wisdom indeed from the Scouse philosopher but things have moved on significantly since the Eighties.
Tangle with the fiercely named War Machine at Chi & Co in Pollokshields and you can in fact score a flatter stomach, increased core strength and greater flexibility.
War Machine is a Rotational Bodyweight Training System. It was originally developed for the military and elite athletes in the USA.
What sets it apart from other suspension training systems is it’s capability for rotational movement which gives it a versatility not seen before in the fitness industry.
Since becoming available to the public, it has been succesful in the States and now it is beginning to take the UK health and fitness scene by storm.
Beneath all the military bluster, this 3D bodyweight training system can be used to develop skills, strength and flexibility for any sport and any fitness level.
Users can begin with little or no resistance and build strength at their own pace.
The exercise is as tough or as gentle as you want it to be.
Classes take place on the following dates:
Monday: 1700 – 1730, 1730 – 1800
