If there is one thing every carnivore on the planet agrees on, it’s that you can never, ever have too many good steaks.
And by ‘good’, we’re thinking dry-aged, placed carefully into a Himalayan salt chamber and then served up with a lovely bottle of wine.
Enjoy all of the above with today’s Big Deal on a tomahawk sharing steak and wine for two from Grill on the Corner.
Grill on the Corner is a swish city centre restaurant that offers a very special setting for very special steaks.
All cuts are wet and dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days, then air-dried for 24 hours in the restaurant’s very own Himalayan rock salt chamber (which, in case you didn’t know, really enhances the flavour of the steaks).
Tuck into a tomahawk
This Big Deal is for a tomahawk longbone sharing steak and bottle of wine for two.
Cut into the shape of a hatchet, a tomahawk is a tasty end of ribeye that’s more than enough for two people to feast on. Your steak will be served with a choice of chips or mash.
You can also choose from a bottle of house red or white to accompany it or, alternatively, a soft drink each.
This offer is valid Monday to Thursday from noon to 9pm, and Friday from noon to 5pm, and is available until 28th June.
Grill on the Corner on Bothwell Street is an opulent bar and dining room separated by an open kitchen. Decked out with trailing lights, chandeliers and mirror walls, you can dine in total style while enjoying the street views from the big windows.
As you will also be close to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and The Pavilion, this would make a great pre-theatre choice.
5pm diners have been thrilled with their meals at Grill on the Corner:
‘Grill on the corner is fantastic. Great service and good food. Our waiter Pedro was so attentive and could not do enough for us.’ 5/5
‘Will definitely be back! Lovely surroundings, perfect for a celebration meal. The menu is varied, I loved the lamb. The service was friendly, attentive but not intrusive. It’s a good deal on the 5pm 30% off.’ 5/5
‘Incredible. Short rib bon bons were to die for. We shared a chateaubriand that was cooked to perfection, sides were amazing. Delighted with our dining experience, thanks to everyone in the grill on the corner. Would go back in a heartbeat, food can be expensive but you get exactly what you pay for. Starters, main and dessert, not one complaint, just beautiful. Staff friendly and welcoming. So glad I picked to eat here for my partner’s birthday, we both thought it was incredible.’ 4.9/5
Extra special steak
It is safe to say that the kitchen brigade at Grill on the Corner know how to prepare a really good steak. So why not experience one for yourself (washed down with wine, of course) by grabbing this Big Deal?
Available until late June, whether you fancy a decadent lunch or extra special dinner, this offer would make for a ritzy choice.
