Since opening nearly twenty years ago, three generations of the Singh family have served Glasgow’s curry lovers with menus that blend Indian culinary tradition with the occasional Scottish twist.

The Elderslie Street restaurant had a face-lift a couple of years back and is looking more handsome than ever.

Pakora master class

This Big Deal is for a hands-on pakora master class for two.

After making and sampling your pakora, guests will sit down for a delicious three course, set Indian meal with your choice of a half pint of Kingfisher; a glass of wine or a soft drink.

The classes take place on Fridays from 5.30pm; on Saturdays from 11.45am and on Sundays from 3pm.

Each guest will be given a recipe so that you can recreate your pakora performance at home.

Three course meal

The exact dishes available may change but your three course meal will give you a choice of Indian food faves such as spicy chicken wings and haggis samosa; main courses such as lamb bhoona, chicken chasni and the ambala – the Singhs’ secret curry.

Guests will be offered tea, coffee or ice cream to finish.
