Leiper’s Attic serves gourmet Scottish cuisine in an atmospheric setting above the converted church that is now Cottiers theatre.

This Handpicked Deal is for a seven course tasting menu for two with a glass of sparkling wine each on arrival.

Individual menu items can change, but expect the following sumptuous selection:

Warm sourdough bread with sunblushed tomato butter

Potato and parmesan espuma

Salt-baked beetroot, blackberry & beetroot purée, goats cheese & watercress mousse

Wild sea bass, chestnut purée, roast chestnuts, crispy potato terrine, salsa verde

Pheasant breast and leg, shallot purée, roast shallots, kale, cider jus

Lemonade sorbet with pistachio praline

Banana & peanut parfait, raspberry sorbet, peanut crumble

Vegetarian alternatives are available – please request with the restaurant at the time of booking. Guests can swap their fizz for a soft drink.

This offer is available Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to 9.30pm, until the 28th of February 2019.

Leiper’s Attic is on Hyndland Street, not far from the Botanic Gardens. It is named after William Leiper who, along with Daniel Cottier, created the spectacular church building that is now a much-loved theatre.

Menus showcase the seasonal glories of Scotland’s natural larder, in particular, wild fish, game and beef that is dry-aged in the restaurant’s own special lockers.

Hyndland Street has parking available and the nearest train station is Partick. Kelvinhall and Hillhead subway stations are also close by.

It goes without saying that this offer would be perfect for pairing with a play or event at Cottiers.

‘Deliciously cooked rump steak. Booked the two course deal through 5pm and meal was delicious! We both ordered the rump steak and it was perfectly cooked. Think the dry aged beef made it more tasty! The deserts were a perfect end to our meal. The attic restaurant is a very romantic setting. The service was friendly and both female staff who served us were lovely…great to know staff are well trained and have tasted the food so can make genuine recommendations.’
