Handpicked for you – curated deals for 5pm customers
Nestled at the top of Hyndland’s stunning Cottiers, Leiper’s Attic is a very special place to dine.
Just ask Rod Stewart – he popped in for dinner when visiting Glasgow last year.
The restaurant’s Cuban cigar menu is one example of its focus on luxury details. Others are its own label Speyside whisky and its beef, which is dry aged and hung in lockers inside the restaurant.
This Big Deal invites you to this elegant West End spot for a seven course tasting menu.

Leiper’s Attic serves gourmet Scottish cuisine in an atmospheric setting above the converted church that is now Cottiers theatre.

Combine it with a show
Leiper’s Attic is on Hyndland Street, not far from the Botanic Gardens. It is named after William Leiper who, along with Daniel Cottier, created the spectacular church building that is now a much-loved theatre.
Menus showcase the seasonal glories of Scotland’s natural larder, in particular, wild fish, game and beef that is dry-aged in the restaurant’s own special lockers.
Hyndland Street has parking available and the nearest train station is Partick. Kelvinhall and Hillhead subway stations are also close by.
It goes without saying that this offer would be perfect for pairing with a play or event at Cottiers.
This 5pm diner adored their experience at Leiper’s Attic. We have edited their review for shortness:
‘Deliciously cooked rump steak. Booked the two course deal through 5pm and meal was delicious! We both ordered the rump steak and it was perfectly cooked. Think the dry aged beef made it more tasty! The deserts were a perfect end to our meal. The attic restaurant is a very romantic setting. The service was friendly and both female staff who served us were lovely… great to know staff are well trained and have tasted the food so can make genuine recommendations.’
Perfect gift for foodies
If you know a lovely couple who would enjoy a very stylish night out, then you can’t go far wrong with a seven-course Scottish tasting menu at Leiper’s Attic.
Or why not surprise your partner with this as a present? With any luck, they will whisk you out along with them for this ritzy West End feast.
