These days The Western Club combines its refined heritage with an airy and bright modern ambience.

The restaurant in the Club Dining Room on the first floor offers a sophisticated and welcoming environment for superb fine dining.

Available Sunday to Friday throughout January 2020, today’s Big Deal invites you to a three course meal for two at The Western Club Restaurant.

A glass of specially selected Western Club Fizz for each diner is included.

Modern menus

Menus at the Western Club combine the finest seasonal Scottish produce with classic French cooking techniques. Maybe that’s why The List Eating and Drinking Guide described it as ‘precise, satisfying food’.

Chicken liver parfait, Arran oaties and red onion chutney

Gratin of goats cheese, heritage beetroot, chutney, aged balsamic

Roast rump of lamb, crushed potatoes, buttered vegetables, rosemary & red wine jus

Market fish of the day, crab & potato croquette, greens, citrus, caper & parsley butter

Breast of free range chicken, haggis bon bons, buttery mashed potatoes, wild mushroom sauce

Risotto of sun-blushed tomatoes & spring onion, parmesan crisps, pea shoots

Seafood casserole (salmon, monkfish, king prawns & mussels) in a light curry broth served with coriander rice (£5 supplement)

Orange cake, cloutie dumpling ice cream

Lime cheesecake with blueberry compote
