Authentic Thai dishes

Opened in 2012 and set over four floors, Glasgow’s Chaophraya is the largest Thai restaurant in Europe and it is certainly the most glam.

With today’s Big Deal, guests can discover the secrets of Thai cooking and ingredients with a hands-on, two hour cookery master class.

Chef demonstration

Available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6.30pm, your experience will start with a chilled glass of Prosecco as you arrive.

Guests will be provided with chef hats which you can take home at the end of the evening.

After an introduction to Thai ingredients, your chef will demonstrate how to make three authentic Thai dishes.

The exact dishes will change for each session and range from stir fries and curries to traditional starters, and desserts. 

Guests with specific dietary requirements are asked to tell the restaurant when booking so that dishes can be adapted.

Hands-on class

After watching the demonstration, it is up to you to recreate the dishes – with a little help from the chef if need be.

Guests will then get to eat the dishes they have cooked. Dessert will be macaroons.

Class sizes will be kept to a maximum of ten so that each guest can benefit the most from the experience.

At the end of the evening, guests can take home their chef’s hat plus a goody bag.
