You don’t need to be a whisky expert to enjoy this tasting. Designed to be informal and fun, it is a great way to learn about the whisky distiller’s art while enjoying some fabulous whisky.

Option one is for one person to experience the whisky tasting from the Rare Malt Whisky Company.

Taking place at Corinthian Club from 7pm on Friday 13th October, the event starts with a dram on arrival.

Over the next two hours, guests will enjoy a tutored tasting of five single malt whiskies, which will be paired with cheese from the famous George Mewes cheesemonger on Byres Road.

Dalwhinnie Winter’s Gold

If you really want to spoil yourself, option two gives one person entry to the tasting plus a bottle of Winter’s Gold from the Dalwhinnie Distillery to take home at the end of the day.

Produced by Scotland’s highest distillery, it’s a sweet, spicy dram and a great souvenir of the tasting.

Appreciate whisky

Based just outside the picturesque village of Killearn, the Rare Malt Whisky Company is a small, family business which sources and sells some of Scotland’s most prestigious malts.
