Aloe Vera – this evergreen has striking, spiky leaves. Known for being medicinal, its nickname is actually ‘Empress of Healing Plants’. And as it hails from the desert, it doesn’t get thirsty very often so won’t need much watering.

Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily) – these beautiful jungle plants not only purify your air, but they grow pretty white flowers that fill your home with a lovely exotic fragrance. Keep them happy by watering them every one or two weeks.

Calathea Leopardina – known as the ‘zebra plant’ because of its beautiful stripy leaves, Calathea is a popular tropical houseplant. In the morning these sun loving plants spread their leaves out to catch the light, then gently close them in the evening.
