Opened in the autumn of 2017, The Square is an independently owned and operated bar and restaurant on Norby Road.

It is a friendly, neighbourhood place where customers can meet friends for a coffee; schedule a working lunch or unwind over dinner and cocktails.

Lunch or dinner

Available for lunch or dinner, seven days a week, the offer is for two people to each have a glass of Prosecco followed by two courses from the lunch or dinner menu.

Seasonal menus

Seasonal ingredients from local suppliers and producers are key to the regularly changing menus at The Square.

Popular main courses include the roasted chicken breast with carrot purée, rosemary and truffle mash plus whisky sauce or the roasted butternut and Parmesan ravioli.

A seafood option might be the fillets of sea bass, sautéed herb potatoes, capers, julienne vegetables, lemon and an orange beurre blanc.

And if you just fancy some comfort food to get you through a particularly wet and windy day, there are always options such as the burger of the week and the Square macaroni cheese made with a four cheese sauce.

Supplements apply to steak and scallop dishes.
