Having first opened its doors in 1890, The Cabin has become one of those rare restaurants that helps define a city’s character.
Well known for its charismatic, singing staff, this Dumbarton Road icon has entertained, wined and dined generations of Glaswegians.
Friendly, homely and always buzzing with a great atmosphere, The Cabin is a West End institution.

Dinner and song
Take up today’s Big Deal with The Cabin and you can look forward to a delicious three course dinner, available 5pm-10pm Tuesday-Thursday and Sundays.
Available on Fridays and Saturdays, option 2 includes dinner followed by some fantastic singing from the waiting staff.
Individual dishes may change but typical starters include the fish cakes served with salad, sweet chilli sauce and garlic mayo; the smooth chicken liver pâté with tomato chutney and Highland oatcakes and, the ever popular, mussels in a cider cream sauce.
Among the main courses, the breast of chicken stuffed with haggis and a mushroom and garlic pepper sauce always has plenty of fans. As does the venison served with dauphinois potato, sauté chestnut mushrooms and pepper sauce.
Of course, there are always vegetarian options at The Cabin.

‘Comedy and good food… Fabulous night. Started by being served by the wonderful Sky! She’s a young female Billy Connolly. Never have the four of us had so much fun ordering food. The food was excellent, the haggis-stuffed chicken and the mussels are particularly recommended.’
‘Just amazing. What a great restaurant, wonderful selection of traditional Scottish food cooked to a very high standard and 1st class service from start to finish and lovely relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone but book in advance as it’s normally sold out!’
