Love tapas but love pasta too? That creates a bit of a dining out dilemma, doesn’t it?
I mean, how on earth will you ever choose? It’s enough to make you refuse to go out, bury your head beneath a cushion and eat cheese ‘n’ toast instead.
But thankfully, Dolce Vita is here to save the day.
With its menu of spuntini (Italian small plates), you’ll no longer have to choose between tapas and pasta. Best of all, this Big Deal gives you the chance to try it out with a fizzy meal for two…
Italian small plate dining
Based near to the King’s Theatre, Dolce Vita serves up a selection of classic spuntini plates.
Inside, the decor is rustically sleek, with rough stone walls, wooden floors and an open fire making it ideal for a cosy autumn meal.
Tapas and Prosecco for two
This Big Deal is for an Italian tapas meal for two. You can choose six plates from the tapas menu, and will get a glass of Prosecco each as well. Tapas specials might have supplements.
Option one of this offer is available Monday to Thursday. Option two is for Friday and Saturday. Both choices are for daytime or evening dining until late November.
Italian small plates are a very bright idea, as you can enjoy lots of different ‘buono’ nibbles rather than one big hefty plate.
Choices might include oven-baked meatballs, arancini rice balls and mussels in a cream sauce. Needless to say, you can also have pasta tapas like macaroni cheese, spaghetti bolognese and sausage penne in a tomato sauce.
Great pre-theatre choice
As it’s near to the King’s Theatre, CCA and GFT, Dolce Vita would be great for a bite to eat before a show or film.
Otherwise, the combination of fizz, Italian comfort food and cracking fireplace would make this Big Deal a lovely autumn treat. Seriously, who cares about drizzly weather when you’ve got tapas to tuck into?
