The menus at Tempus always feature locally sourced seasonal ingredients so the exact dishes available may change due to seasonal availability.
Typical starters might be the chicken and smoked bacon terrine, celeriac slaw and endive; the whisky-cured salmon, pickled fennel and radish with herb crème fraîche; and the white onion soup with leeks and croutons.
To follow, typical main course choices might be the roasted pork loin, pearl barley arancini, beetroot, honey and cider sauce; the thyme and honey-roasted butternut squash, orzo pasta, baby spinach and Dunlop cheddar; and the 8oz sirloin steak, fries, house salad and peppercorn sauce.
Plum and almond choux crown with spiced rum mascarpone, and sticky toffee pudding, salted caramel and Arran Dairies tablet ice cream are some desserts that may be on offer.
