Launched in 1975, La Bonne Auberge on West Nile Street has been consistently popular in Glasgow for over forty years.

Award-winning Executive Chef Gerry Sharkey has been at the helm in the kitchen for a good chunk of that time and his years of experience shows in dishes that make the most of French and Mediterranean flavours.

Private dining

This bespoke private dining offer allows the organiser of the group to select a set 4 course meal for all guests to enjoy. You will be able to select a set starter, intermediate, main and dessert from our range of classic and contemporary dishes.

You can discuss the menu options available with the highly experienced team when making your booking.

Your private dining experience will begin with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival in the private dining suite, followed by your bespoke 4 course meal.

The actual dishes will depend on the menu selected.

Typical starters might be the parfait of chicken livers flavoured with garlic and port, served with spiced pear chutney, or the ham hock terrine with apple puree, peas and aphillio cress.

Intermediates may consist of white onion and chilli veloute with chive crème fraiche, or blackcurrant sorbet with a splash of crème de cassis.

Main courses may include the roast loin of pork with creamed cabbage, pine nuts and bacon, mash and peppercorn sauce, or the pan-fried Cajun salmon fillet with mangetout, pinenuts and tomato concasse.

There is a range of desserts such as the baked lemon torte with fresh fruits or the chocolate bavarois slice with boozy cherries and cremé fraiche.

After your meal your guests can enjoy freshly brewed tea and coffee with homemade tablet.

Guests should note there is parking at Concert Square, located directly across from the hotel. Parking charges apply.
