Today’s Big Deal offers all of this at a spectacular night of burlesque at Merchant City venue Arta on Friday 6th October. So get ready for some Ooh-la-la and Va-Va-Voom, you lover of fine things.

Your evening will be hosted by mystery man Chris Dinwoodie. Five times Scottish Magic Champion, Woodie has spent the last fourteen years travelling the world and performing his magic.

When not being wowed by Woodie, the audience will be teased, titillated and transfixed by a dazzling array of burlesque beauties.

Lolita Va Voom – the star of The Berlin and European Burlesque industry, Lolita was classically trained as a modern, tap, and ballet dancer before trading in her pointe shoes for pasties. She then hit the road to tour the world and is returning to her favourite burlesque spot – Glasgow!

Miss Innocence Bliss – the winner of ‘Miss Scottish Pin-up 2016′, Miss Innocence Bliss was also a finalist at The World Burlesque Games and is one of the most in-demand burlesque acts in the UK. Her fabulous routines are the perfect mixture of cheeky, comedy and classic burlesque – what more could you want?

Mini Blue – after being signed by The Pinup Academy, this beautiful brunette turned her hand to burlesque. Her vintage style and elegant routines have set the burlesque world on fire and you now have the chance to see her live for her first performance in Glasgow.

Dinner and show for two

Option one is for one person to have a glass of fizz on arrival followed by a three course meal and the show on Friday 6th October.

There are three options for each dinner course. We would go for the crayfish and guacamole cocktail to start, followed by the madras curried cod loin with sultana basmati rice, accompanied with sugar snaps, red pepper & white wine sauce. Then chocolate and peanut butter tarts to finish, obviously.

Although we could see why you might choose the ham hough and parsley terrine served with piccalilli and Arran oaties, followed by the penne pasta with a sweet tomato and basil sauce.

Naturally, you’d have to round it off with the delightfully retro-sounding classic sherry and strawberry trifle.

Option two is for a drink and show package for eight people – ideal for a Friday night with friends. As well as a Cava reception on arrival and tickets for the show on Friday 6th October, this package includes:

One bottle of spirits – choose between Ketel One Vodka, Tanqueray Gin, Jack Daniels and Havana 7 with unlimited mixers
