What’s the worst Christmas cracker joke?
We would suggest this:
Two snowmen were standing in a field. One said, “Can you smell carrots?”
Terrible. We know.
Much more likely to raise a smile is today’s Big Deal on a delicious meal for two at Chez Mal brasserie in Glasgow’s Malmaison.
The building was originally a Greek Orthodox church and the atmospheric restaurant sits in what used to be the crypt.
With a glittering domed ceiling; vibrant murals of Glasgow’s industrial heritage and relaxed brasserie-style service, Chez Mal is a cosmopolitan, city centre venue.
Adjacent to the brasserie, Mal Bar is a cool hangout which is decorated with Pop Art. Craft beer, cocktails and a carefully chosen wine list all add to the bar’s charms.

Chez Mal brasserie has lots of admirers of their 5pm Dining page. Edited for length, this is what a couple of recent visitors wrote about their experiences:

Just keep the cracker jokes to yourself.
