Set in 37 acres of peaceful wood and parkland, the Macdonald Crutherland House was built in 1705 as a dower house for Lady Dowager of Torrance Castle. Now a plush country house hotel, the Macdonald Crutherland is a comfortable spot for a well deserved chill out day.
Afternoon tea
Perfect for a catch-up chat with family or a friend, the offer is for two people to enjoy afternoon tea.
Think along the lines of scones served with preserves and clotted cream; sandwiches; afternoon pastries, fruit cake and a choice of fine teas.
Leisure facilities
The hotel’s Vital Health and Wellbeing Club is an elegant spot and full use of the leisure facilities is part of the deal. The 18 metre pool has glass walls which fill the room with light and allow you to gaze out onto the hotel’s carefully tended parkland.
Soak up the heat of the sauna; take a tranquil turn around the pool or simply relax poolside and enjoy the views. If you are really determined to earn your afternoon tea then there is always the fully equipped gym.

Both afternoon tea and leisure centre day passes must be used on same day by both guests.
