“What a feeling! Being’s believing!”
If these words make you want to pull on your leg warmers and spin across the room, you need to check out today’s Big Deal for an 80s DJ night at Glasgow’s Holiday Inn.
Not only will this night feature the best hits from the 80s, guests will also dine on a delicious two course meal with a glass of wine from La Bonne Auberge restaurant.
The 80s were the best decade, everyone knows that. The fluorescent fashion, the gravity defying hairstyles (okay, maybe not the hairstyles), the movies (Back To The Future! Top Gun!), and, of course, the music.
Wham!, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper… these acts alone are enough to tempt us to the dancefloor and make us stay there all night.
Be transported back to the best decade of all time with today’s Big Deal.
DJ, meal & wine
This Big Deal is for a ticket to an 80s DJ night on Friday 5th April at Glasgow’s Holiday Inn with a two course meal, glass of wine and tea or coffee.
The tunes will be spun by the hotel’s resident DJ, James Oakley, and the food will be prepared by the hotel’s restaurant, La Bonne Auberge.
The evening will begin at 7pm and the fun will continue until 1am.
AA Rosette dining
The AA Rosette-awarded La Bonne Auberge has been a popular spot for fans of French and Mediterranean style food since it opened in 1975.
Their menu combines traditional dishes with more eye-catching options.
The menu on the night may change but will look something like this:
Escalope of chicken with garlic butter, green beans and fries
Lemon meringue pie
Central Glasgow location
Glasgow’s Holiday Inn is located in the city centre, minutes from Buchanan Bus Station, Queen Street Station, Cowcaddens and Buchanan Street subway stations, and multiple bus stops and taxi ranks, making it very easy to get to and from this event.
So if you’re a child of the 80s, dust off your fluorescent outfit, dig out those crimpers, and don’t miss this fantastic night out.
