What did the Mexican fireman call his two sons?
Jose A and Jose B.
Terrible, we know.
Happily today’s big Deal from Ad Lib will raise more smiles than laughs.
A former fire station, Ad Lib in the Merchant City recently launched after a clever refurb.
With vintage photos of Glasgow fire fighters on the walls and a burnt wood motif throughout, the new decor echoes the building’s past.
Available seven days a week, this offer comes in two sizes.
Option one is for two people to have a glass of Prosecco, a cocktail from the new summer cocktail menu and a deli platter to share.
Option two is for the party people. Ten people can sit around the fire chief’s table and have a cocktail each as well as sharing five deli platters and two bottles of Prosecco.
The sharing platters include pastrami, chorizo, smoked chicken, duck, hummus, olives, salad, bread, oils and sun-dried tomatoes.
Ad Lib on Ingram Street has no shortage of admirers keen to share their experiences. This is from the restaurant’s 5pm page:
‘Lovely place, lovely food. I’ve been here a few times and always loved everything I’ve had to eat. The 5pm Classics menu is really good value for money and portions are very generous. I will definitely be back and would recommend it, the macaroni was delicious.’ Rating 5/5
Available seven days a week, this is a very flexible offer from Ad Lib. You could use it for a fun lunch, a pre-show meal, a bite to eat with a loved one or a night out with friends.
Fire up your summer with today’s Big Deal from Ad Lib in the Merchant City.
