Stylish French restaurant

Located on St Vincent Place, Atlantic Bar and Brasserie is a stylish French restaurant which sits beneath its sister restaurant, The Anchor Line.

Inspired by an early Glasgow pop-up restaurant which was built for the Empire Exhibition of 1938, Atlantic offers a contemporary French brasserie and bar in a sophisticated and glamorous vintage setting.

Selection of premium gins

This is how the gin selection is looking for each evening:
On Thursday 1st of June and Thursday 22nd June, Brockmans, Citadelle Reserved Aged Gin and Gabriel Boudier Saffron gin are all on the menu.

On Thursday 8th and 29th June, Caorunn gin, Rock Rose from Britain’s most northerly mainland distillery and gin from Misty Isle of Skye Distillers will be served.

On Thursday 15th of June, the line-up features The Botanist from Islay; the small batch Makar Glasgow Gin and Hendrick’s, the cucumber and rose water-scented gin which kick started the current boom in premium gins.

Classic French menu

Your menu for the evening comprises a choice of six starters and eight main courses. All are tried and tested French classics.

The starters include steamed Shetland mussels with shallots, white wine, garlic, parsley and cream; chicken liver parfait with spiced apple chutney and toasted bread and a fresh goat’s cheese salad.

Atlantic Bar and Brasserie specialises in rotisserie chicken. The menu for these evenings features roasted chicken for one or two, served with goose fat-roasted potatoes, honey root vegetables and jus de roti.

Alternatives include the grilled salmon fillet; sautéed beetroot and goats’ cheese stuffed gnocchi; a tartiflette made with Reblochon cheese and the ever popular boeuf Bourguignon stew.
