It is also just a stroll away from some of the city’s main event venues like the Hydro, Armadillo (Clyde Auditorium) and SEC, making it the ideal place to dine before a show or gig.

With this Big Deal, two people can enjoy a three course dinner each from the Hot Table buffet menu in The Mariner Bar & Restaurant.

You can dine seven days a week from 5.30pm to 9pm until 30th March 2019. It goes without saying that Hydro event nights are also included.

The Mariner Bar & Restaurant is an airy dining spot with tranquil views over the Clyde and décor that celebrates the city’s shipbuilding heritage.

You will be dining on three courses from the Hot Table menu, the restaurant’s buffet selection.

Expect starters such as freshly made soup, chicken liver pâté, herb-crusted Portobello mushrooms and crispy salt & pepper squid.

Mains will feature the Roast of the Day (which could be roast beef, gammon or chicken), plus a selection of main meals. These will include a fish option, vegetarian option, pasta dishes and vegetables.

And if you have room, there will also be a tempting dessert selection.
