In another life, Citation Taverne and Restaurant was the Sheriff Court in Glasgow’s Merchant City.

Back then, the bill of fare ranged from a slap on the wrist to a large helping of porridge.

These days, the neo-classical Victorian building on Wilson Street is better known as a stylish restaurant.

And the menu of classic and contemporary dishes is rather more appetising.

You could say that it dishes out fewer restraining orders and hands down more in the way of tasty dinner orders.
