Starters include chicken and duck liver parfait with melba toast and chutney; chicken tempura with sweet chilli sauce and soy sauce; smoked haddock and leek croquettes with chilli jam; and Shetland blue mussels with roast garlic & caramelised onion cream.

Highlights from the mains menu include roast chicken supreme with fondant potato, veg and thyme jus; beer-battered fish and chips with tartare sauce and mushy peas; or crispy pork belly with black pudding, apple, honey jus and charred broccoli.

Those with a sweet tooth can hum and haw over a classic array of desserts including sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice-cream, or vanilla Madagascan crème brûlée with shortbread.

Add one of The White Elephant’s perfectly-mixed cocktails and you have the recipe for a memorable meal. Cocktails include pear & apple mojito, cherry & raspberry mule, blush apple martini and several flavours of daiquiri amongst others.
