Back in the day, keeping fit was easy. Running from sabre tooth tigers; fighting bloodthirsty neighbouring tribes and pubs that shut at 10pm all meant that keeping trim was just part of the daily routine.
These days, family-sized bags of pies, constant sofa sales and a new series of The Apprentice make it harder to stay in shape.
However, thanks to today’s Big Deal with Personal Training Scotland, becoming a lean, mean fitness machine is within grasp.
The Personal Training Scotland team are all registered exercise professionals who specialise in all aspects of fitness.
The New Beginning Boot Camp classes take place at the following venues and convenient times:
Pollock Park: Tuesday 7 – 8pm and Saturday 9 – 10am
Kelvingrove Park: Wednesday 7 – 8pm and Sunday 9 – 10am
Bothwell Castle: Monday 7 – 8pm
Voucher holders can attend as many classes as they want and can choose to go at one location or all of them if you’re feeling super keen.
The classes are not a doddle in the park. A mixture of commando circuits, boxing and kickboxing training, military fitness, ab attack and body weight blast, they are full throttle.
Of course, it’s not all about the sweat. Group and one-to-one health and nutrition advice along with motivational encouragement will be given by the instructors.
Put down the pies, switch off the telly, say ‘Laters’ to the sofa and get fit for summer with today’s Big Deal:
£24 per person for six weeks New Beginning Boot Camp classes held outdoors in Glasgow with Personal Training Scotland; a 60% saving on the standard £60
