Why don’t men cook at home? No-one’s invented a steak that will fit in the toaster.
Boom and indeed boom!
Although in the age of Jamie, Hugh and Gordon ‘Mad Radge’ Ramsay that joke feels a bit dated.
Fortunately, today’s Big Deal with One Restaurant at the Crowne Plaza Hotel is as fresh as a daisy.
It’s a straightforward but deeply satisfying deal. Each voucher is for two people to each enjoy an eight ounce (225g) sirloin steak with traditional chips and a roast field mushroom.
A glass of house wine each is included in the offer.
Simple but hard to beat.
One Restaurant is the main restaurant at the Crowne Plaza hotel. Close to the Tall Ship and right by the Clyde, the spacious, open plan restaurant has great views.
A huge mural on one wall depicts the Clyde’s ship building heritage while the sail-like window coverings underline the restaurant’s nautical theme.
Perfect for the SECC
The Crowne Plaza is very handy for visitors to the SECC. A covered walkway connects the hotel to the SECC for concerts, conferences and exhibitions.
Today’s Big Deal would be perfect for anyone going to a gig at the SECC or the Armadillo.
Tuck into a juicy steak; wash it down with a glass of wine and then stroll over to your concert just in time for the band hitting the stage.
Plenty of 5pm customers recognise how handy One Restaurant is for the SECC. This recent comment is typical:
‘Excellent place to eat when attending nearby venues. Good food, excellent views and free parking.’
