Newly revamped restaurant

Based in Milngavie, Classic India is a cheerful dining spot that has recently come under new ownership. This means it has a fresher, more upmarket look, as well as a brand new menu.

The restaurant serves up all of the traditional favourites that you would expect like tandoori, masala and jalfrezi. But you can also try out special signature dishes like the indulgent butter chicken or a Chetinad dish from the Tamil region.

Indian meal for two

With this Big Deal, two people can tuck into a two course a la carte Indian meal at Classic India.

The offer is valid Tuesday to Sunday for lunch or dinner from 7th January until the 31st of March. Tandoori and lamb chops dishes are not included, and fish and king prawn dishes are charged a £5 per dish supplement.

Firstly, you need to know that I am of Indian descent and when Indians eat out, they always struggle to find food as good as their home-cooked meals. However, my meal last night was better than home-cooked Indian food…loved it! Staff were attentive, polite and gave a very professional service.
