‘A year has 365 days. My mission is to present you the most memorable and magical night of these days.’ – Jay Gatsby
Set in the swinging era of jazz, The Great Gatsby is one of the world’s most iconic stories. This July, Arta will play tribute to it with a glittering, flapper-tastic night of speakeasy entertainment.
Expect brilliantly choreographed dance routines, authentic costumes and a medley of sing-long hits. Oh yes, and there will be NO spectators at this event – get your feathers and fedoras ready, as you will be a part of the show as well.
Secret speakeasy event
This Big Deal is for a ticket to the The Greatest Gatsby on Saturday 27th July.
Decked out in statues, candles and columns, Arta is the ideal venue for an F. Scott Fitzgerald-inspired night.
Hidden within the club will be a secret liquor establishment playing host to an exclusive speakeasy shindig that you are invited to at 7.30pm on the dot.
You will be greeted with a Special Speakeasy cocktail on arrival, followed by a two-course meal and shimmering burlesque entertainment. Entry to Arta’s Club Canvas and a 1920s dance lesson are also included.
Dinner and burlesque cabaret
You will be seated at a mixed table, giving you a chance to meet other dapper gangsters and fabulous flappers.
During your two course meal, you can enjoy Peaky Blinders highlights on the big screen, before your show of sensational burlesque, cabaret and flapper dancing begins.
Featured acts include Miss Helles Belles, Diva Lamount and The Charleston Chicks. Expect to be whisked off to another era in no time.
Feathers and fedoras
Finally, you can head to Club Canvas from 11pm, where the Godfather of DJs will be at the decks until the early hours and you will even get a 1920s dance lesson.
There will also be a prize for best dressed Peaky Blinders gangster or moll, so get dolled up in your best feathers, pearls, fringes, fedoras, waistcoats and spats.
