Wouldn’t it be fabulous if you could enjoy a tranquil country house dining experience – without having to go on an epic trek out of the city?
Since we’re all about making you happy, we’re chuffed to tell you that you can.
Dalmeny Park House Hotel is based on the outskirts of Glasgow but has a secluded, rural vibe. Best of all, it’s just had a total makeover, including a brand new restaurant for you to try…
Awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, Dalmeny Park House Hotel is an ivy-covered mansion set in three acres of impressive landscaped grounds.
Its sleek new restaurant, Orchid, offers the kind of panoramic garden views that make other dining spots mad with envy.
Available Sunday to Friday until the end of March, today’s Big Deal is for a starter and main for two from the Orchid’s set menu. Dishes change regularly, but here is a sample:
Salt & pepper crispy squid rings with sliced red chillies, spring onions and saffron aioli
Rad tower of haggis & black pudding with crispy leeks and peppercorn sauce
Melon, mandarin & pineapple coupe with exotic fruit sorbet, passion fruit syrup and coconut shards
Classic steak pie with puff pastry, market vegetables and creamed potatoes
Button mushroom stroganoff with smoked paprika, sour cream, basmati rice and garlic ciabatta bread
