As we mentioned, The Crowne Plaza is very handy for visitors to the SEC and Hydro. A covered walkway connects the hotel to the SEC for concerts, conferences and exhibitions.

The Tall Ship and Riverside Museum are not too far away either.

Guests at The Mariner Restaurant can enjoy up to four hours of free parking at the hotel. It would be easy to spend a couple of hours at the museum and then park up at the Crowne Plaza for afternoon tea.

‘Our afternoon tea was… amazing. Lots to choose from and we were given a glass of Prosecco each and a pot of tea and coffee that lasted forever. Our server was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble… I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
