The daffodils are blooming; the trees are budding and the sun is definitely coming out to play. Are you?
Spring is in the air and we can think of no finer way to greet the new season than with a mighty fine lunch at The Boat House on the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond.
With today’s offer, there is also the option to visit the Cameron Club and make full use of the leisure activities – Mother Nature is waking up and stretching her legs; today’s Big Deal is a luxurious way for you to do likewise.
New England style
Part of the five star Cameron House, the décor at The Boat House is a nod to New England style, with an open kitchen and wood-burning oven all contributing to a friendly dining experience.
Located at the hotel’s private marina on the water’s edge, guests can enjoy the amazing views over the loch from the restaurant or outside on the large decking area.
Lunch on the lochside
This brilliant offer comes in two forms. Available Monday to Friday, option one is for two people to enjoy a plate of pasta or pizza and a glass of wine or bottle of beer at The Boat House.
With pasta options such as penne carbonara or tagliatelle served with shrimps, braden rost (hot smoked salmon) and dill, the pasta choices are tempting.
But then so are the stone-baked pizza. Choices include the meat feast calzone; the wild mushroom and artichoke or the magnificent fruits de mer topped with prawns, anchovies, mussels, spinach and olive oil.
Also available Monday to Friday, option two is for lunch as above but, in addition, it includes entry for two people to the Cameron Club.
Spring is a good excuse to shake off winter weariness and get active. The Cameron Club offers all the facilities needed to put a spring in your step.
The perfect way to work up an appetite for lunch or indeed the ideal way to relax afterwards, the Cameron Club features a state of the art gym, a sauna and pool.
Whether you choose to work out or simply drift between the sauna and the poolside views of Loch Lomond is entirely up to you.
Many a diner has set a course for The Boat House and returned with tales of happy experiences. This is what a couple of recent diners had to say on TripAdvisor:
‘Just a short walk from the hotel and set on the edge of the loch, this place is worth considering. Really nicely decorated and the staff were great. The menu has a wide selection including pizza, pasta, seafood and burgers… If you are looking for a simple, tasty and well cooked meal, the boathouse is for you!’
‘Relaxing, filling lunch. The decor is lovely, like a New England style restaurant, light airy and cosy. We ordered far too much but ate it all as it was lovely…’
