Arrive at one of the most glamorous destinations in Glasgow and prepare to be dazzled by an evening of vintage style cabaret entertainment.

Three course meal

Today’s Big Deal invites you to Arta to enjoy an evening of cabaret entertainment and a three course meal at the Club Cabaret night on Friday 25th January – the first show of 2019.

The evening kicks off at 8pm with a cava reception before the three course meal is served.

Guests will tuck into these delicious dishes:

Starters

Courgette, rocket & Parmesan soup with a slice of bloomer bread (v)

Smoked mackerel pate with garlic crostini, lemon and chive crème fraiche

Sundried tomato & manchego arancini with saffron aioli and harissa oil

Mains

Slow roasted pork belly with honeyed carrots and beets roasting juices and crisp polenta chips

Honey & soy marinated salmon with harissa spiced potatoes and roasted Med veg

Pine nut, spinach & Parmesan nut roast with roasted butternut, red pepper pesto and crumbled feta (v)

Desserts

Delicate pistachio sponge with fresh strawberries and mint ice cream

Indulgent dark chocolate brownie with dark chocolate sauce and Baileys mascarpone (gf)

Scottish Cranachan with toasted oats and Cranachan

After dinner a decadent cabaret performance of jazz, magic and dance will begin.

Six acts will perform: Aphrodite’s Singers, a female duo who cover songs from the 1920s to the present day, Kim Khaos, an exotica burlesque performer, Agatha Friski, a burlesque stage siren, and Professor Cogswoth, a steampunk magician. The evening’s compere will be Paul Puppet, a singer, actor, JD and puppeteer, who has over 10 years experience of MCing cabaret nights.

Cabaret entertainment

Arta’s Club Cabaret night brings all the glamour of the cabaret to Glasgow.

The night will feature a huge roster of deliciously decadent cabaret including burlesque, magical illusion, eclectic ensemble acts and rip roaring live music.

Those who wish to continue to boogie the night away have free entry to Arta’s Canvas Club from 11pm.

Arta venue

Club Cabaret will take place in Arta’s Canvas Club, a slick venue with red velvet seats, cosy booths and Champagne served on ice.

Arta is on Albion Street in Glasgow’s Merchant City, close to High Street and Argyle Street train stations, Buchanan Street and St Enoch subway stations and multiple bus stops. There is paid parking in a car park a few minutes away.
