Stylish lounge
Overlooking the Botanic Gardens, the Hilton Grosvenor is a gem of the West End, part of a row of listed Venetian-style townhouses very handily situated near Hillhead subway.
The comfortable Windows on the West offers views over the gardens and Byres Road, with refined décor and plush furnishings. It’s the ideal spot for snack and a catch-up over a leisurely bottle of wine.
Available Friday and Saturday from 5pm until midnight, the Big Deal option one is for two people to share four of the chef’s choice small bites platters and a bottle of house red or white wine.
Option two puts a little sparkle into your evening, replacing the house wine with Prosecco.
The small platters might include such dishes as large warm baked pretzels, marinated Spanish olives, chilli salted nuts, cheesy haggis nachos with sour cream or spicy chicken wings in barbecue sauce.
