From Kelly Macdonald to Sean Connery via Ewan McGregor and Peter Capaldi, there is no shortage of competitors for the title of Best Scottish Actor.
But, for Team Big Deal, only one Scottish character steals every scene it appears in and it doesn’t even have a speaking part. It is, of course, the great outdoors.
Go on location in Scotland’s spectacular scenery with today’s Big Deal on a break at the popular Logierait Lodges near Pitlochry.
Sitting pretty on the banks of the River Tay in beautiful Perthshire, the Logierait Lodges are the perfect spot to make the most of the late summer and autumn.
This Big Deal is for a 4 night stay in either a 1 bedroom terraced lodge (sleeps 2 adults & 1 child) or a 2 bedroom lodge (sleeps 4 adults & 1 child). The deal is for a midweek stay (ie any 4 nights between Sunday and Thursday) but, for a supplement of £25 a night per lodge, weekend nights can be included.
Banks of River Tay
Easily accessible from the A9, the lodges have stunning views over the river to the hills beyond.
Set in the heart of Perthshire, close to the market towns of Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and Kenmore, all sixteen of the lodges are in the village of Logierait which is only 80-90 minutes from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Recently refurbished, each lodge at Logierait has been beautifully furnished to a high standard.
Guests can relax and enjoy the flexibility of staying in a self-catering lodge, knowing that they are within easy reach of the great restaurants and bars that Perthshire has to offer.
Well laid out, each lodge has a sitting room with dining table, kitchen and bathrooms with both shower and/or bath. Beds are made up for arrival with towels provided.
Amenities include balconies and outside seating; car parking beside each lodge; Freeview TV and DVD player; CD player; double glazing, central heating; a fully equipped kitchen and a laundrette on site. Electricity is included.
The Logierait Lodges are a big hit with people keen to enjoy the countryside or those who simply want a little tranquillity in beautiful surroundings. This is what a recent guest had to say on TripAdvisor. We’ve cut it for length but not meaning:
‘Wonderful… just returned from a week’s holiday at these lodges… we were all very impressed. Our lodge was spotlessly clean… the facilities were excellent… The quality of the furniture… was extremely high.
The location is ‘spot on’, very quiet and peaceful just what we all wanted for a break away…Ann and her husband, who run the site, were both really friendly and helpful and made our stay a pleasure. We will be back soon.’
