Loosely translated from old Scots, a surprisingly concise language, Moness means ‘glen of relaxation where the air is pure; the leisure facilities are brilliant, especially for kids, and your boss suddenly seems very far away and, frankly, unimportant.’
Learn the language of relaxation with today’s Big Deal on superb lodge accommodation at the gorgeous Moness Resort, near Aberfeldy.
Ideal for a family holiday, a break with friends or for couples, the cottages at Moness Resort are fully equipped for self catering and have been awarded a 4 star Scottish Tourist Board grading.

Less than two hours from all of Scotland’s major cities, Moness Resort is quick and easy to get to but feels a long way from the grind of urban life.
It’s Highland Perthshire on your doorstep.

Scottish restaurant in Perthshire
Part of Moness Resort Hotel, Flemmyngs Restaurant offers an excellent choice of fresh meat, fish and game sourced in Perthshire.
The menu is changed daily but typical dishes might be the smoked haddock chowder; the slow cooked haunch of venison casserole topped with black pudding mash or the pan seared breast of Gressingham duck with sweet red cabbage and crunchy garlic potatoes.
The Terrace Bar offers a less formal setting with comfy leather sofas and bistro style furniture and is ideal for a lighter or more informal meal.
Both options are fantastic should you fancy a change from cooking for yourself in your lodge.
