Under new ownership since early 2014, Grapevine is a cosy, contemporary restaurant that makes the most of seasonal, Scottish produce.

Talented chef Chris Neely has a pretty tasty CV and loves to cook top quality Scottish ingredients in interesting and sometimes novel ways.

Menus change regularly

The market menu changes regularly but typical starters might be the West Coast mussels cooked with shallots and white wine or the chicken liver parfait with a pear and orange chutney.

Popular main courses include the braised beef cheek with a potato purée, pot roast carrots and spring greens or the rock turbot with chorizo, baby leeks, peas and potatoes.

Of course, vegetarians are also well looked after and can tuck into dishes like the butternut squash risotto with shaved parmesan.
