A new basement bar which sits under ABode hotel on Bath Street, Pie and Brew does what it says on the tin and then some.

As well as gorgeous pies made by their pie master, they offer a huge range of great beers including a variety of draught craft beers which change on a weekly basis.

In addition, they have regular live music sessions with acoustic sets, live bands and DJ nights that get the joint jumping.

Great range of craft draught beer

Available from 4pm to 9pm, Tuesday to Saturday, the offer is for two people to each have a pie and a draught craft beer followed by a dessert to share.

The beautiful pies come with neeps and gravy. There are usually eight to choose from and they range a slow-cooked shepherd’s pie to a haggis and black pudding number via a smoked haddock and spinach.

Veggie options might be the baked mac ‘n’ cheese crumble or a vegetarian haggis and beetroot.

For your dessert to share, choose from the Banoffee pie with salted caramel ice cream; the lemon meringue and ice cream or the Tunnock’s mud pie and ice cream.
