Without Scots Italians like Sharleen Spiteri, Tom Conti and Armando Iannucci, Scotland would be a poorer country artistically.
Without Scots Italians, we would also be a lot more hungry.

This is what a recent diner had to say on Barolo Grill’s 5pm review section. We’ve cut it for length but not meaning:
‘Another enjoyable evening. This restaurant never fails to satisfy. The bean and pasta soup is hard to reject but the other starters on the Early Evening menu are also very good. The mains offer a good choice. I have had the salmon and the chicken ….both enjoyable. The staff and the service that they provide cannot be faulted… Barolo is friendly and efficient without getting on my nerves. Go and enjoy!’ Rating 4.2/5
