Fratelli is a neighbourhood Italian on Glasgow Road. It has picked up a stellar reputation for its delicious food, friendly staff and cheerful interior, making it a very popular choice with locals.

‘Just as good as my last visit. We were a party of four warmly welcomed by Sarah and given good window seats. They have a very good, comprehensive menu and Sarah and her colleague were most attentive. Now for the food – well, where do I start? I love seafood and chose a mixed fish dish. The portion was enormous!! Succulent chunks of salmon, mussels and squid all done in a light, crispy batter, accompanied by a generous portion of french fries and salad. Having already chosen a king prawn starter, I was too full to manage pudding. We chose the house white wine and it was a perfect accompaniment. The service was first class – with some great banter from Sarah. It was a wonderful evening and we will all return again soon.’
