It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the hip and exciting sport of bouldering, low level climbing which doesn’t require all the equipment needed for ascending rock faces.
It’s an ideal activity for after work, weekends, Bank Holidays and the summer.
Climbing facility
Handily situated in the city centre on Portman Street, in the old News International building, The Climbing Academy features over 1100 sq. metres of bouldering walls, with surfaces and routes to suit climbers of all abilities from beginners to experts.
Bouldering is for everyone, young and old, male and female, and can include those of all physical and mental abilities. It’s a great way to stay in shape, enjoy a challenge, and test your developing skills.
Getting started is easy. Just turn up and the friendly Climbing Academy staff will take you through the safety procedures and you can get started.
Indoor climbing
Available from 10am until 10pm Monday to Friday and 10am until 6pm Saturday and Sunday, this Big Deal comes in two varieties:
Option one is for one person to have three indoor rock climbing sessions, including membership and shoe hire.
Option two is for one person to have a two month unlimited climbing package, including lifetime membership. Shoe hire is not included.

No booking required – simply go along at a time that suits.
Important Information
The Big Deal option 1 is for 1 person to have 3 indoor rock climbing sessions, including membership and shoe hire.
Option 2 is for 1 person to have a 2 month unlimited climbing package, including lifetime membership. Excludes shoe hire; shoe hire available – £3 surcharge (£2.50 for students) applies.
Option 2 valid for 2 months from date of first visit.
Option 1 may be used over multiple visits; allow enough time to schedule all sessions within the deal redemption period.
Offer not open to existing registered users of the Climbing Academy.
Offer is open to those aged 16+ only. Ages 16-17 may climb with adult consent. Those 16-17 years will require completion of a parental consent form at their first visit.
Max 1 purchase to be redeemed per customer. Additional deals may be purchased as gifts.
